Built for the player, not the catalogue.
Thirty years on, DOOM is more alive than the day it shipped. Cacowards every December, new megawads every month, total conversions that out-design AAA studios. For all that work, playing it still meant a desktop ritual: a source port, the right IWAD, config files, load orders. DOOM.WS exists to put it one click away.
We host no copyrighted game data. You bring your own mods; the base games are provided to play, and the free Freedoom IWAD is included. Everything runs locally in your tab. Your files, your saves, your machine.
A fan project that lets you play classic FPS mods directly in your browser through UZDoom, a WebAssembly port of a GZDoom-class source engine. Pick a base game, drop in your own WAD/PK3 mods, name the build, and play instantly. No installs, no plugins, accounts optional.
Standing on giants.
