Privacy Policy
Last updated · 16 June 2026The short version: your game files and saves live in your browser. We only store data on the server if you choose to sign in and use cloud save sync.
What stays on your device
Mod files, IWADs, engine configuration and (as a guest) your save states are stored in your browser's private storage (OPFS and IndexedDB). These never leave your machine and we cannot read them.
What we store on the server
Only when you sign in:
- Account basics from Google sign-in: your email, name and avatar URL, plus a randomly generated public handle you can change.
- Your Vault build index (names + which engine/mod filenames a build uses) and, if cloud sync is on, your save-state files so they follow you across devices.
- Operational records needed to run the service (e.g. session tokens).
You can turn cloud save sync off at any time in your profile; existing cloud copies are preserved until you delete them or your account.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad-tracking cookies.
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
- Analytics is optional and privacy-light: it's only active if the operator configures a measurement ID, and it never receives your game files or saves.
Third-party services
Sign-in is handled by Google OAuth (subject to Google's own privacy policy). Hosted base-game IWADs and uploaded cover images may be served from object storage / a CDN. Avatar images are proxied through our server to avoid leaking your IP to their origin.
Your choices & deletion
You can edit your handle, disable cloud sync, clear your cloud saves, or delete your account and all associated data from your profile. Deleting your account removes your builds and saves from the server.
